Are there cases of Autism in children that did not have any vaccines?

People have been saying that autism is cased the vaccines they give children when they are younger. I was just wondering if there were any cases of the disease in children that did not have those shots?

Yes, there are many cases of children diagnosed with autism without having had vaccines.

Yes. Many, many more, in fact. I’m not taking sides or anything, but autism has been around for longer than vaccines.

People have had to apologise for spreading the vaccines and autism rumor.

Unfortunately, that won’t bring back any of the dead children the rumor caused when people neglected to vaccinate their kids.

My son has Aspergers ( which is on the autism spectrum ) and I have long suspected it was the vaccine but I found in my research that it was the preservative in the vaccine that was believed to be the cause. The vaccines no longer have the preservative in question but the autism rate continues to rise.I’m not an expert or anything close but I feel like we need to start looking at other possibilities.

Yes. In regards to the "link", it is very dubious at best. The data does not support a link.. But for the sake of it, lets say that there is a minute risk.. The question would be. "should we vaccinate?". My belief is a resounding "YES"!! Say that a vaccine might cause autism in one in ten million children, I would weight this strongly against something like measles or smallpox, where the chances of dying from those diseases was a lot greater than the odds of getting autism!

Yes, but the odds are less, according to a California study. Populations that have never had vaccines do not appear to have autism. Once the parents have been vaccinated, they can spread those pathogens and toxins within their sperm and ova. Well, the toxins are spread when pregnant. Just the pathogen genes are spread via sperm and ova.

The problem is that the answer is quite unbelievable. Once you start researching autism, vaccines, etc., you learn things you wish were not true. There is a whole other world that exists on this Internet that is different from what is portrayed by mainstream medical and in the media. On this Internet, you will learn that thousands have been recovered from autism via treating for pathogens and toxins, some of which are the same as those found in vaccines, some can be found from other sources. My children no longer have autism. I even adopted a child with autism, who no longer has it now. Just go to the Yahoo Groups on autism and ask what’s going on there. You need to hear from hundreds of people on various forums before you can believe it, because it’s too different than what you have been taught your whole life. Let’s put it this way, us parents who are recovering or have recovered our children from autism, believe what we see, not what "they" tell us to beleive. Do not try to use judgement on what seems to make sense from what you have seen here and there or taught in school. The doctors are on the forums asking ordinary parents how to do recovery. But, also realize that there are doctors throughout the U.S. who know how. You can find them by asking on the forums. They will tell you lots of things, show you studies, etc., and like I said, some things you never wanted to know about how greed got us into this mess and is keeping us here. But, the good news is that they will tell you how to learn how to reverse all kinds of supposedly untreatable diagnoses. It’s amazing!

Original: vaccines were given many many years before any diagnosed with autism. I imagine you read this somewhere and are repeating it. There are lots of conflicting reports. I guess we each need to pick and choose which to believe.

Celebrate: I think also you heard somewhere and was told the vaccines no longer have mercury, and thus you believed it. I called the Health Departement myself. They said yes, vaccines still have mercury, but less. Some vaccines do not have less mercury, like flu shots.

About a year ago a mother of an autistic child came on Yahoo Answers asking if there were any parents who had an unvaccinated autistic child. One girl answered that her brother was unvaccinated but had autism. The asker got all huffy complaining that she wanted answers from *parents.* So, a mother of an autistic child simply answered yes. Again the asker got all huffy because the answerer "provided no details." In fact, the asker was so infuriated at getting positive answers that she withdrew the question. Her stated reason for withdrawing the question is that she wanted to make sure nobody got ten points!

I guess people believe what they wish to believe. As long as politics drives the research into autism, we are doomed to ignorance on this subject.

The only people who have dared to do nonpolitical Research on it, like Bruno Bettelheim http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruno_Bettelheim
    and Anne Alvarez http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_b?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=anne+alvarez&x=16&y=17
and Stanley Greenspan http://psychology.wikia.com/wiki/Stanley_Greenspan get reviled and shouted down by enraged mothers like the dumb asker mentioned above. That’s just how it goes.

Our son was never vaccinated; however, due to our extremely toxic environment and all the agricultural farming (high concentrations in lead), fertilizers, pesticides, so prevalent in Ventura County, our son had extremely high lead poisoning. Oxygen deprivation at birth didn’t help, also, Vaccinations are just one of many, many environmental factors that has led to the sharp rise in autism cases.
